“both the study of behavior in organizational and work settings and the application of the methods, facts, and princiiples of psychology to individuals and groups in organizational and work settings” (APA).
James F Engel dkk (1994): “Those actions directly involved in obtaining, consuming, and disposing of products and services, including the decision processes that precede and follow this action”.
Mowen (1995): “ Consumer behavior is defined as the study of the buying units and the exchange processes involved in acquiring, consume, disposing of goods, services, experiences, and ideas”.
Those are two of definition of Organizational & Industrial Psychology (O/IP) and Consumer Behavior, the reason why we must study about Consumer Psychology.
