Now what?
What did you learn from the experience of 2013? Have you got something for 2013? Do you have evaluated all?
guys, turn of the year is a destiny that we can not refuse as long as we live. As long as God gives us life, as long as we think about it, we know that we actually are in a cycle of life, sometimes above, sometimes below.
then, if we know what we have achieved during the year 2013, we know that we can do a lot of things in 2014. what's next? up to you

Sample Moderator Script - My Experience in NETS 2013
on December 28, 2013, I was given the task of becoming a moderator in the session inspirational speeches, the event NETS 2013 (National Olympiad and International Conference for Education, Technology, and Science).
Before, I ever became a moderator in the seminar or talk shows, but not in English. The experience of being a moderator in this event (NETS 2013) were exciting and learning experience for me ...
I will share the experience of being a moderator at the event, my job description and my guide moderator script
Moderator’s Job:
• Check with your speakers to ensure that they have all AV equipment they will need, check out that it all works, make sure that you know how to dim the lights, etc.
• Be available to help out as needed.
• If the session begins to drag, interject a question or try to liven it up in some creative way…sometimes if you write important points on a flip chart, it will at least give participants someplace else to focus.
• Keep track of the time. Let the speaker(s) know when the session is 10, 5, and 2 minutes from ending. Be sure to stand up at the end of the session to indicate that it is time to break and interrupt if you have to.
• Thank the speaker(s) and present each of them with a thank you gift.

Info 4 My Students: Handbook of Interview
What is the Interview?
An interview is a conversation between two or more people (The interviewer and the interviewee) where questions are asked by the interviewer to obtain information from the interviewee. Interviewing refers to the process used in conducting interviews.
Interviews provide in-depth information about a particular research issue or question. Because the information is not quantifiable (i.e., not amenable to statistical analysis), the interview often is described as a qualitative research method. Whereas quantitative research methods (e.g., the experiment) gather a small amount of information from many subjects, interviews gather a broad range of information from a few subjects.
When we analyze the results from an interview we use the "hermeneutic method." We look at how all the statements made by the interviewee are inter-related. What are the contradictions and consistencies? What is the "big picture" of what the interviewee is trying to say - and how does every individual statement from the interviewee relate to this big picture? The interview is a "holistic" research method: all the bits of data from the interviewee provide you this "big picture" that transcends any one single bit of data.
The information from the interview is not objective data as in quantitative research methods. If the interviewee is an expert on some particular topic or possesses some special skill or experience, his or her responses may be "facts" or "opinions" depending on how you look at it. It really doesn't matter. A good interview is the art and science of exploring the subjective knowledge, opinions, and beliefs of an individual. The knowledge, opinions, and beliefs of that person are a "system." The purpose of the interview is to explore that system and all of its elements..
To learn and study about interview as methode and tools of psychodiagnostic or psychology research, we can learn it step by step in the chapters.

Should You Stay Late or Go Home?
Source: anonim
Let me start this post with a confession: I'm usually the last person to leave my office. I get in around 8:00am or earlier and often don't get home until after 7:00pm. But I'm not complaining. I love my work (and have an understanding family). But since there's always more to do than there is time to do it, I've gotten into the pattern of expanding my workday.
I'm not the only one. In fact, a recent study suggests that nearly two-thirds of U.S. companies report that their employees have worked more hours over the past three years. It's likely that there are similar percentages in other countries.
This growing trend is predicted to continue. An unintended consequence of our global, connected world is that customers, clients, partners, and colleagues expect immediate responses to their demands. At the same time, jobs are in short supply in many fields, so nobody wants to disappoint. As a result, more employees are putting in longer hours, and many regularly face the dilemma of whether to stay late and finish a critical task or put it aside until the next day. But once you begin expanding your work hours on a regular basis, working "normal" hours starts to look like slacking off. In other words, if you establish a pattern of staying late, your extended hours become the new normal.
Given my own inclination to work late, I'm probably the last person who should give advice on this subject. However, if you don't enjoy working late (like me), doing so can have serious consequences. A large study last year of 6000 British civil servants showed that those who regularly worked over ten hours per day were 60% more likely to suffer from heart disease. And if you don't have an understanding partner, being away can put a strain on the relationship.
So what can you do to avoid the stay-late work pattern or at least avoid its negative consequences? Here are a few thoughts to help you prioritize:

Excellent Service
Good customer service is the lifeblood of any business. You can offer promotions and slash prices to bring in as many new customers as you want, but unless you can get some of those customers to come back, your business won't be profitable for long.
Good customer service is all about bringing customers back. And about sending them away happy - happy enough to pass positive feedback about your business along to others, who may then try the product or service you offer for themselves and in their turn become repeat customers.
How do you go about forming such a relationship? By remembering the one true secret of good customer service and acting accordingly; "You will be judged by what you do, not what you say."
Backpacker Story #1: Trip to Singapore and Malaysia (KL)
We (I, Wilis, and Laily) are planning a trip 3 months earlier, when we saw promo ticket of roundtrip Yogyakarta - Singapore which advetised on newspaper. We get ticket for Rp. 199.000 for a one way trip. Then, we made itinerary for Singapore backpacking for 4 days and 3 nights, and decided to add the destinations to Malaysia for a day.
All things prepared one day before departure, ex. bag, clothes, jacket, camera, power bank, charger, netbook, umbrella, and don’t forget: bottle for mineral water!
We went to Jogjakarta use a car escorted by Willis's husband. We let at 11.30 pm, then up to Yogyakarta at 04 am. In the travelling, we had experienced a problem on a car tire, but we can handle it quickly. We had breakfast with menu ‘gudheg’ in the area Benteng. We reached the airport at 06:15, then check in and take off at 07.45 using Air Asia airplane.
On the flight to Singapore, I met with a women who sat next to me. During flight, we discuss about a lot of things, especially cities in Singapore. She helped me to fix the itinerary that had us arrange for backpacking in Singapore.
Finally, we follow her suggestion of that mother. That, the advantage if we dare to ask a stranger. But, be careful selecting stranger discussion partners in your journey ...
We canceled to explore west and east side of Singapore, and concentrate our travelling in the middle of Singapore,
and in our limited time we focused in south side of Singapore... between Bugis - Sentosa Island - Orchard - Little India - Chinatown - Harbor Front - Merlion park - Esplanade - Marina Bay/Gardens Bay
Thanx for the women that I forgot the name... in flight of Air Asia

Follow up Training With Coaching
by Peggy Carlaw
Remember the last time employees attended a training session where they came away with wonderful ideas and/or methods for improving their job skills? Actually, it happens every day. Employees leave training sessions pumped with information that will change the way they communicate, handle customers, or perform more effectively on the job. However, their enthusiasm can quickly diminish without management's support. Long-term retention of newly learned training skills requires ongoing coaching and assistance from immediate supervisors. This means frequent inquiries into how recently trained employees are progressing and feedback that will help them continue practicing what they have learned.

Four Steps to a Super Attitude
by: Brian Tracy
Unexpected circumstances can be thrown at you, but what is the thing that counts most in these situations? What counts most is how you react to what happens to you, especially when you have unexpected problems of any kind.
Here are four things you can do to assure that your attitude is the very best it can be, under all circumstances.
Focus On the Future
First, whatever challenges you face, focus on the future rather than on the past. Instead of worrying about who did what and who is to blame, focus on where you want to be and what you want to do. Get a clear mental image of your ideal successful future, and then take whatever action you can to begin moving in that direction. Get your mind, your thoughts, and your mental images on the future.

12 Steps to Living Happy Live in 2013
by Sonia Riccotti
1. WRITE OUT YOUR GOALS. Take the time to do this one very important and crucial exercise. What do you want to accomplish in the next 12 months? Don't just think about it or talk about it, write it down!
Studies have shown that the simple act of taking the time to write out your goals will dramatically increase the likelihood of achieving those goals!
So write, write, write!
2. LET GO OF "WHAT WAS". It's time to let go of the past (just leave it behind). Let's face it, you can't change the past. In fact, the past doesn't even exist anymore. The only place it exists is in your mind.
Let it go. Learn the lessons, look for the silver-linings, and be grateful for what "is" today and what will be tomorrow...oooooohhhhh great things are waiting for you (if you are willing to "receive" them). It's just hard to "receive" the new great stuff when you're holding on to the negative bad stuff from the past.
LET GO and move on. It's time.
3. FORGIVE. Are you holding on to any resentment, anger or regret toward someone? It's time to forgive, and again, let go.
